PORTRAITS OF THE SUN

This project interpretation is based on the source of our planet's light. I began this project in 2018.These images of the sun constitute the days in which the temperatures rose above the normal average. As a photographer, the sun's light is paramount in the creation of a photograph. In this series of images, I show the other side of an angry volatile star. The exploration of directing the camera into the sun. A revolt in breaking the basic rules of operating a camera. Some days the sun's light seems like a solar cocktail, exceeding the limits in its testing our arrogant yet ignorant minds. The more I direct my cameras to the direct light of the sun it speaks anger to me by the way the camera interprets its light waves in the delicate balance of our fragile planet. This project constitutes a dedication to practice a discipline of continually observing the elements but specifically the daily temperatures of the sun. Sometimes even IF the temperature is appropriate for me to create an image the sun maybe not visible. Therefore, the dedication and interpretation are very important to me in my translating my message of our environment through my photographic portraits of the sun.
